Spinach and Prawn Dip

Thanks to my friend Diane for this recipie.  She makes it for the Australia Day BBQ, and everyone loves it.
 Spinach dip


SPINACH PRAWN DIP

Rating : easy

Ingredients:
1 large Cobb loaf of bread
1 french stick of bread
1 packet of french onion dip mix
tin prawns - drained
1 carton sour cream
4-5 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1/3 cup grated cheese
pepper and salt to taste
paprika to taste
1 pkt frozen spinach



Method:
Cut damper across the top and tear out all the bread, leaving a shell for the dip.
Cut up french stick

Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. 
Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
Place spinach in a sieve. Using the back of a large spoon, squeeze out liquid. Transfer to a large bowl. Add sour cream and mayonnaise. Stir until combined and smooth. Add dried soup mix and grated cheese. Season with salt, pepper & paprika. Stir until well combined.
Place mixture into Cobb on baking tray, arrange all the bread around the side (it will crisp up).
Bake for 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese has melted and bread is crisp. Serve immediately.
